True Grit - the Score

As much as I look forward to each and every Coen Brothers film, I also equally look forward to Carter Burwell's scores for those films. He has composed music for all fourteen of their movies, and each score is always good, often great (Miller's Crossing, Fargo). I might be wrong but I don't think Carter Burwell has ever won an Oscar, or maybe even been nominated, which might have something to do with the fact that he often uses snatches of existing music in his scores.

So you can't see the film yet, but you can hear the score for True Grit, streaming now on Paramount's site. It's what I'm doing right now, plus working, of course.

Rooster says, Listen to ma score.
