A low key comedy that never goes for cheap laughs. For that reason it can be pokey at times but I liked it a lot. The characters, for the most part, felt real, plus a little bit sad. And Greg Mottola, a director whose work has never really impressed me, managed to make a film set in a rundown amusement park look beautiful at times.
